Privacy Policy

Aligned is run by AA Digital, a sole proprietorship based at Plot 42, Sector 18, Gurugram, Haryana, India. We collect as little as we can, use it only to give you your overview and report, and delete it after 7 days.
What we collect
- Your name, date of birth, and email. Your email signs you in and receives your report. Your name personalises your report, and your date of birth tells us your age so the advice fits your stage of life.
- Your answers. Your quiz answers, anything you type about your work or study, and, for some reports, a few further answers in your own words.
- Your results and reports, which we generate from the above.
- Payment records: the amount, currency, date, the payment provider's transaction reference, which report you bought, and when it was delivered. We never receive your card or bank details.
We don't ask for your gender, location, phone number, or a password, and we don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
How long we keep it
We delete your account, answers, results, and reports 7 days after your report is delivered, or 7 days after you finish the quiz if you don't buy a report. Payment records, including which report you bought and when it was delivered, are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires, without your name, email, answers, or reports. They let us check a refund request after your other data is gone. Copies held in our providers' routine backups or delivery logs may last a short time longer before they are overwritten.
Who processes it for us
We use these providers, each only for its part of the service:
- Supabase: stores your account, answers, results, and reports, and manages sign-in.
- Anthropic: its AI model writes your report and parts of your overview from your answers and profile.
- Resend: sends our emails, including your sign-in code and your report.
- Vercel: hosts the website, and counts page visits anonymously without cookies.
- Paddle: takes payment as Merchant of Record and handles its own records under its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers process data outside India. We use them under their business terms, which limit what they may do with your data.
Cookies and storage
We use only what the site needs to work: a sign-in cookie, and short-lived browser storage that remembers your details while you confirm your email. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete your data at any time, earlier than the 7-day deletion if you wish. You can also withdraw your consent, after which we delete your data (payment records excepted). Email hello@alignedlife.live from the address you used.
Age
Aligned is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Grievances
Grievance Officer, AA Digital: email hello@alignedlife.live with the subject “Grievance”. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within one month. If you're not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the effective date above.
